Leonor von Salisch

Leonor founded xoberlin in 2017, after gaining almost a decade of experience in the creative industry. With a background in communicationscience (Bsc.) and a degree in art direction; xoberlin allows her to connect the dots between marketing concepts and content creation. Leonor’s mission is to help shape the future of sustainable fashion, by offering responsible image making in photography campaigns and (social) video content. Depending on the briefing, Leonor includes creatives from her rich network in Berlin and Amsterdam, to full fill a job. She has a deep love and admiration for storytelling, art, people, nature, fashionfilms, documentaries, aesthetics, colours, stories, poetry & joyful imagination and brings all of these ingredients on the table while she’s at your service.

Speaker at AWTY

During this online festival, I was honored to give a presentation with insights about the importance of sustainable (fashion) consumption- and how ‘sustainability’ can be defined. It became a popular word for brands to use and doesn’t always show the full brand picture. As a consumer, it’s important to ask the right questions and learn how to recognize this phenomenon called ‘greenwashing.’ Additionally I shared my personal roadmap, including favorite brands and platforms one can dive into, when interested in making a start towards sustainable consumption.
